"You have to be patient and just let the ocean give you what it wants.

One morning I went out 3 yrs ago and found 40 plus sand dollars at sun rise. It coincided with low tide but I didn't know that was a good time back then. I was just getting up to see the sun! I ran out of pockets and eventually had to turn my hoodie into a kangaroo pouch to carry them all safely back to my place. What a thrill! And there was hardly anyone else out there to share in my excitement and bounty but also probably a once in a lifetime event."

"One of my favorite beach combs has to be with my 2 grandsons about 4 years ago on Pawleys Island SC. We were all there for my father’s funeral. Each of the boys filled up a gallon bag of beach treasures, and my brother got us 5 pounds of Pawleys Island sand. When we got home we made a resin coffee table. What a fun project!

My first use of my new Sanddipper was this past week at my cousin’s cottage on Bear Lake, Michigan. I am a certified Rock Nut. The water was too cold for me to go in, but I could see treasures by the dock. When we were out I saw the Sanddipper at a store. What fun! It can dig! It can lift! It can scoop!

I have secondary progressive MS and the discovery of the walking stick is the frosting on the cake."
