"I’ve been beachcombing for many years but I have to say one of my favorite and interesting experiences was over 55 years ago on a beach just south of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Some of the cliff side was crumbling and I found several items that had apparently been dumped by the military that had controlled the Presidio for years. Not a lot of stuff but there was an old button and a small bottle. When I went back there had been an additional slide so every thing was covered."

If you’re willing to do a little digging, you might be surprised what’s hiding underneath your feet!

We put the Sand Dipper Sand Sifting Shovel to work, and this thing moves some serious sand! 💪😂

Just scoop up a load, sift it out in the water, and see what treasures were hiding underneath. It’s especially fun when you hit one of those shell-packed layers buried below the surface.

And yep… even the kiddos love it! 🙌🐚

Who’s really dragging who out to the beach for another shelling adventure? 😂🐚
Are you the parent saying, “Come on kids, let’s go shelling!”… or have your kids reached the point where THEY’RE dragging YOU out for “just one more beach trip”? 🌊🤣
