Version 2 of pinpointsurf (with native apps) is coming along. I’ve completely redesigned the underlying data transformations and data formats for smooth performance over longer forecast periods (and it think it looks pretty good also). As soon as the new UI is finished and the nearshore models are integrated, I’ll be looking for some beta testers.

The model over predicted our swell from Melissa a bit. Calling this 4-5ft would be generous. Still found a decent spot and caught some clean waves regardless of sizes. This is a good test-case swell to see what can be improved on the pinpointsurf model.
