Thank you everyone who stopped out on Saturday to celebrate Buck at our annual black powder shoot. The weather held off for the most part and everyone had a great time slinging some lead down the range and through the trees.

THANK YOU to everyone who stopped in during our workday yesterday to lend a hand. The plumbing was fixed, downed trees cut up, grounds and trails cleaned up, driveway raked out, and the range hood was finally stained.

And another thank you to everyone who purchased 50/50 tickets to support our fish stocking efforts yesterday evening during the Caroga Lakeview Store’s Go Topless event.

For the past ten years we’ve been focused on rebuilding, renovating, modernizing and becoming more active within the community

We’re a small group of active members so sometimes things move slow but it’s been great to sCampers Corner Store’sRoyal View Pub & Campground iVrooman's Hotelible without the support of local businesses like Campers Corner Store, Royal View Pub & Campground, Vrooman's Hotel, Lakeview Store, and others, as well as the members that show up time and time again to enjoy each others company and put in a good day of work to further things along.

If you’re not already a member, or are one but have never been to a meeting or event, consider stopping in and saying hello If you get a chance.

Don’t forget the range will be closed today (5/15/26) from 8am til 2pm for a private event
And all day tomorrow (5/16/26) for our annual work day.

As range traffic is picking up for the season and you plan your weekends in town, we just wanted to put up a reminder of upcoming days/times the range will be closed.

Just a reminder - The range will be CLOSED from noon to 2pm today 4/25/26 for our Hunter’s Ed class.

The range will be CLOSED from 8am to noon tomorrow, 4/11/26 for some last minute, much needed repairs.

Putting this as nicely as possible:

Please be mindful of shooting the target frames and chains when you’re up there.
We all miss sometimes (and some of us more than others…😜) so, if you damage something accidentally, please coordinate with one of the board members to get it repaired or take care of it yourself If you have the ability to do so.

If the damaging of the property continues, we will be removing the metal targets.
