Smoke On The Water was the theme for last Sundays 22 mile race across the Tahoe. With The Butte Fire raging in nearby Sacramento Area, it was only appropriate that the Fall Classic take place at the location of the upcoming 'FireFest" (no joke, look at the photo, also note the brutally low water on the S Shore, gettin' grim over there)

international showing and over 275 racers for the 5.5 miler. Danny Ching in a familiar place, all by himself for first and  Shay Foudy and Annabel Anderson battleing the whole way, with Anderson on top. Here's some highlights of the top packs.
