Silver Dollar was definitely a challenging track, but we made progress every time we hit the track and learned a ton throughout the weekend. Overall, it was a fun weekend and a great opportunity to gain experience and keep improving.

Championship Night

Qualified: P11
Heat Race: P6 → P5
A-Main: P9 → P8

Qualifying didn’t go quite as planned, putting us 11th quick.

Started 6th in the Heat and finished 5th, then started 9th in the A-Main and worked our way up to 7th before finishing 8th out of 15 cars.

The car felt great all night, and we had some awesome battles along the way. Overall, a solid night at the track and a great way to finish off the Skagit Speedway season!

We’re not done racing just yet! We’re heading down to Chico, CA this weekend to race the 360!

Championship night in the 360s at Skagit Speedway!

Qualified: P13
Heat Race: P5 → P3
A-Main: P7 → P7

We missed the setup a bit in qualifying, but were able to move forward two spots in the Heat. Started 7th in the A-Main, fell back a few spots, but fought our way back to 7th and were racing for 6th–5th late in the race.

The car felt great in the Heat and really good in the A-Main. We’ll take what we learned and keep moving forward!

Back at Skagit Speedway this Saturday in the 410 for Championship Night!

Race Weekend Recaps

The weekend before the Skagit Nationals, we were back at Skagit Speedway in the 360 Sprint Car.

We qualified 3rd quick, started 7th in the heat and finished 5th, putting us into the A Feature. We started 2nd in the A and were running between 2nd–4th, racing hard for position, when the fuel line came apart on the high speed. That ended our night with a DNF, leaving us with a 13th-place finish on paper.

Then came the Skagit Nationals.

Thursday: Started 7th in the heat and was working our way forward, up to 5th, when the drag link bent and sent us into the wall. That ended our heat race with a DNF. The bent drag link also messed up the RR shock, but we didn’t catch the shock issue all weekend. That shock had basically no rebound, which left us fighting the car for grip the rest of the weekend.

Friday & Saturday: We just couldn’t get the car to work like we knew it should. Looking back, the RR shock issue explains a lot of what we were fighting all weekend.

Then we headed to Grays Harbor Raceway for a 360 Sprint Car race on Sunday. In qualifying, I found the bad RR shock and we changed it out for another set. The car immediately felt like a completely different race car.

Started 1st in the heat and got the job done, then went on to WIN the 360 Sprint Car A Feature! 🏆

Great night at Skagit Speedway with both cars! Both cars felt great all night.

In the Sportsman, we had a great Heat race, going from P2 to P1. Started the Main P4, jumped right to P3, and just couldn’t quite make anything happen after that. We had a few opportunities once we caught lap traffic, but a yellow came out and we ended up bringing it home P3.

The 410 was a little more eventful. Started P2 in the Heat and finished P3 after missing the start. In the Main, we caught a little luck on the start and moved up to P6 after one of the front row cars didn’t fire. Then P5 spun in Turn 1, putting us up to P5. We kept fighting all race and made a last-corner pass to finish P3!

This was an amazing weekend for our team. we are all so proud of Levi and how he drove. We will move this momentum to the 360 race this weekend at Skagit then Highlimit the week after!
