Carmel Invitational Lacrosse Tournament March 25 & 26, 2011 CIF/NFHS Sanctioned event
Modified “round-robin” format, played on three fields at one site.

Tournament games will consist of two, 20 minute, running-time halves (@ ½ the time of a regular game). Teams are ranked based on strength (i.e.; lax power rating) and placed into one of four groups of 4 teams each … “modified” to accommodate competition between teams that might otherwise not play each other during the regular season. Each team will play the other teams in its group, plus one game

outside of the group (top 9 play down, bottom 9 play up). Two teams with best overall record will play a “championship” 5th game.
