Today was Round 2 of the Summer Shootout and it did not end well for us. On a restart we were mid-pack and when people started break checking up front chaos broke out and I got sandwiched with nowhere to go. We’ll get her fixed up and ready for Round 3 next week and come back strong with Mackintosh Race Cars!

Hey we’re back at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the INEX Legends & Bandos 2026 Cookout Summer Shootout! Some of you might recall we came down for a double header last summer. Well we’re back for all 10 races this year! (It’s a lot easier now that we live down here.)

Came out to Pulaski County today. Check out the sign - Classic! It’s a new track for me but I was feeling strong and competitive. After a few laps I started feeling a vibration in the drive line so I came in. It turns out one of the bolts sheared off and the others were starting to back out too! It’s a disappointing end to the day but we’ll be back. It’s a really fun track with some high banking!

Had an Awesome day at the Sim Expo! I met one of my favorite content creators . Then I spent the rest of the day trying out this years newest equipment. A few of my favorites were Conspits Hydraulic pedals which were the most realistic pedal I have felt, Simcraft motion sim had such smooth motion, and the Simucube 3 wheel base which had wonderful clarity on the force feedback.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Busch family and our extended race family. Rowdy was a true legend who could tune the car, race the track and play with the crowd. Rest in Peace🏁

We were back at Caraway today and the field was stacked! After some minor contact in practice we were able to get our toe fixed in time for qualifying. I was able to qualify 9th. In the feature I finished 9th and once again had a new PB. We are starting to get this track down more and more.

Truth!

Some days feel like you’re standing in the middle of a storm, waiting for something to break. Progress is quiet there. It doesn’t always look like winning… sometimes it looks like showing up tired, trying again, and refusing to quit.

The lightning doesn’t ask permission before it strikes. It builds, it charges, it takes time you can’t see.

Trust that.

Trust the late nights, the setbacks, the slow growth, the moments where nothing makes sense. Every step is wiring something bigger beneath the surface.

When it finally hits, it won’t be luck.

It’ll be the process.

Race day at Caraway. Highlights are we started 6th and finished 5th! Even better we put together a solid race day in only our 2nd completed race day at Caraway. Set a PB time of 19.211 and we learned a lot. We will be back even stronger next time!
