Well, I was finally able to get back at it after last year's knee surgery putting me on the sidelines. It was a tough day, a little warm, birds wouldn't sit and only one dog just adds to it. Oh well, back at it tomorrow.

Took Carson out to hunt some pheasants this morning. We got only one.... zigged when we should have zagged...but none the less, we had fun and learned a little too.

Had a great day guiding today!! Saw our limit but they didn't all pan out. 50% ain't bad. The dogs did great and they're flat worn out.

Had to say goodbye for the last time to one of the original bird dog mafia dog lolly girl . She was one of the best . She sure made it fun to hunt over her and all the kids that shot birds over her
