These pictures are from the Earth Day in Carlyle at the Dam. This was a great day as it was our first official day teaching youth the importance of giving back to the resource. Hopefully we made a difference, and they come back for our spring builds in the future. It was great to see the involvement and how fast these young people can put these cubes together.

📢 CLEHP 2nd Quarter General Membership Meeting

Join us for the CLEHP 2nd Quarter General Membership Meeting on Wednesday, June 17, 2026!

We'll be sharing updates on our Carlyle Lake Habitat Improvement Structure Builds, discussing recent accomplishments, and highlighting what's ahead as our organization continues to grow.

This spring on April 24th, CLEHP was proud to participate in an Earth Day project with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) at Carlyle Lake, where we helped engage local youth in learning the importance of habitat conservation. The project provided hands-on opportunities to teach the next generation about maintaining healthy aquatic habitats and the vital role they play in preserving Carlyle Lake's fisheries and wildlife for years to come.

We're also excited to welcome guest speakers who will provide valuable insights and information related to our conservation and habitat improvement efforts.

This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow members, hear the latest news, celebrate our recent successes, and learn how you can become involved in future projects.

We encourage all members to attend as we continue growing our organization and making a positive impact on the fisheries, wildlife, and natural resources of Carlyle Lake.

We will have a 52 card gun raffle for a 400 CVA V2 Legend for $20/card. We will not draw unless all 52 cards are sold, but if we don't sell all we will turn it into a 50/50 raffle at that point on the cards we do sell.

Good evening everyone, we are selling sponsorships on cubes, and we have our tax deductible forms finally ready to go. We are doing individual sponsorships at $100 and corporate sponsorships at $300. The $300 will get your advertisement on our website site and our news letter. The individual sponsorship can be memorials of friends or loved ones or just a recognition of supporting our group and cause. 105 cubes built today. What a achievement for our group. None of this would have been possible without everyone's help! Special thank you to the Carlyle FFA, Mrs G you have an exceptional group of young men and women and thank you for all your help! Special thanks to our Sponsors and Donors without your help none if this would be possible. Thank you Carlyle U.S. Army Corps of Engineers without your support, cooperation, and help none of this could happen and we are forever thankful! Saturday at 8am is our build, we hope everyone who wants to help will be able to make it out. We have some youth from Carlyle FFA showing up to help along with many other volunteers as well. Everyone's help is need and will be greatly appreciated.
Immediately following we will be frying fish for a fish fry. If you have some fish to donate towards the fish fry please bring it with you thawed. We will be asking that a few guys help out frying the fish.

As always we look forward to seeing everyone showing up to help improve structures and habitat here at Lake Carlyle.

This Saturday, we're building fishing habitat here. Bring the kids; there's plenty for them to do to help out. Grab a buddy and come on over. Even if you can only help for a few hours, stop by whenever.
