Minnesota Voyageur Trail Ultra & Eugene Curnow Trail Marathon The Minnesota Voyageur 50 Trail Ultra is one of the oldest trail races in the country. We would love to see you at one race or both!

The rugged, varied course of the MVTU takes runners from Carlton High School to the Duluth Zoo and back on difficult, rough woodland trails with many scenic overlooks and the infamous “power lines”. The Voyageur was first run in 1982 and has a history as one of the most competitive (and fun!) races in the Midwest. The Eugene Curnow Trail Marathon, held on the same trails (with a few surprises) 2 weeks earlier.

Congratulations and a huge thanks to all the runners and volunteers that joined us last Saturday!

Results are up on both Ultrasignup and NMTC.run.

For those of you that went home with a finisher award, we want to know: what did you put in the dish?! Keys, your safety pin stash, a responsible amount of ice cream?

A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated volunteers, inspiring runners, and supportive spectators that made Voyageur 2026 such an amazing event! From the ham radio operators who keep our runners safe and help us to keep aid stations well-stocked, to the many volunteers who staff our aid stations and road crossings, help us with race prep, parking, start line, finish line, etc (there are so many volunteers needed to make this event run smoothly!) - we appreciate you all so much! We are looking forward to seeing you again next summer (or even better at our Fall series, which will be starting before you know it!)
