The Port Authority Football Club is teaming up with HealthCheck NJ located in Garfield, NJ to offer Nuclear Stress Tests for PAPD Law Enforcement officers and club members.

The Nuclear Stress Test has proved to be crucial in saving lives of first responders who have participated in the test.

HealthCheck NJ, a clinic in Garfield, is a primary care clinic that also offers precise diagnostic testing services. The clinic also specializes in cardiology and facilitates a sleep center.

HealthCheck NJ’s interventional cardiologist, Dr. Ajay Agarwala, MD, FACC, FSCAI, RPVI, stated that a nuclear stress test is used to identify and assess potential blockages inside the coronary arteries. The test shows blood flow to the heart muscle when it is stressed by either exercise or a stress inducing medication. This determines what areas of the heart have decreased blood flow.

Bledar Berberi, owner of HealthCheck NJ has been a sponsor and supporter of law enforcement and the club since the club’s founding in 2020.
