Lens Reducer Discs back in production! 🇺🇸

Our transparent (clear/smoke) “ghost ring” discs snap onto your scope eyepiece, centering your eye behind the optic to reduce parallax and sharpen target focus.

Behind the scenes: We’re firing up one of our biggest CNC machines (used for fluting barrels) for one of our smaller parts. This is a 2-step drilling and chamfering process that takes 2 minutes per disc to complete.

This run: ~500 discs. Full weekend dedicated so barrels stay on track.

Two days at SHOT Show 2026 just wasn’t enough — who knew you could do that much walking indoors?

We clocked over five miles a day catching up with partners, suppliers, customers, and anyone else who would stop long enough for a handshake. Most mornings were a blur of back-to-back meetings, caffeine, and trying to remember which hall we were in. We’ve also got new products that have been in testing throughout 2025, and we’re getting close to finally showing them off.

Already counting down to next year (and investing in better shoes)!

Thanksgiving 2025 finds us thankful and humbled as we begin wrapping up a year full of changes. We are especially grateful to you, our customers, who supported us through the relocation and ownership change. We wish each of you a very blessed Thanksgiving.

Taking advantage of a break in the rain and wind to hit the range for a functional test on a batch of varmint uppers — 22” and 24” models that will soon be available for purchase online.

A few of these uppers will feature our White Oak Exclusive 4-STAR Muzzle Brake (shown in one of the photos). Designed by John H. and David Tubb specifically for the AR-15 platform, this brake keeps the signature performance of the SSS 5-STAR model but in a smaller, lighter package. One customer mentioned how hard it was to find a brake compatible with a 5/8 x 24” thread, so this design turned out to be a great fit.

We wrapped up the past week catching up with David Tubb — we’re proud to still be one of the few shops producing Tubb barrels.
