Alumni Spotlight: Brody Nesemann — University of Maryland (Class of 2019)
A former club president at Maryland, Brody Nesemann played a key role in coordinating tournaments and working closely with CWPA staff to help deliver well-run events. His leadership and engagement left a lasting impact on his program and the broader community.
Now a Certified Financial Planner in the Philadelphia area, Brody specializes in comprehensive wealth planning for high-net-worth clients, guiding decisions across investments, retirement, tax strategy, insurance, and estate planning. Outside of work, he manages rental properties and recently completed a full live-in home remodel, transforming it into his next investment.
Brody credits water polo with shaping his professional mindset—teaching composure under pressure, accountability, and a team-first approach. These lessons continue to influence how he serves clients and collaborates with his team.
Advice to current players: Stay engaged beyond just playing. Take on leadership roles, help organize events, and build relationships. The skills developed through the sport extend far beyond the pool.
