🏆 BY ONE FOOT!!! 🏆

Monday night, the Frerking Motorsports crew headed south to the Southern Illinois State Fair in Du Quoin, Illinois for some ITPA Illinois Tractor Pulling Association action!

The Modifieds were the 5th class, and Dylan drew the 5th hook out of 6. The tractor went fairly straight, but a light tap of the brake here and another there kept Dylan fighting to keep it pointed down the track. He managed to take over the lead with his pass, and then eventually was your winner!!!

We’d also like to congratulate our great friend Tim McVicker on his win as well! Tim was the second puller out and took over the lead with his hook, then had to sweat it out for rest of his entire class!

What a night!

Frerking Motorsports took the loooong 4½-hour trip north to Peotone, Illinois for some more ITPA Illinois Tractor Pulling Association pulling action!

The Modifieds were the 3rd class of the night, and Dylan drew the 1st hook.

The last time we pulled at this track was back in 2022. A lot has changed since then — we had our Engler frame, 30.5 tires, and Tractor Pulling Simulator as a sponsor. Fast forward to now, and we’re running a completely different setup with a new wedge-style frame and tires, which meant all of our old notes were basically null and void.

Dylan had the option to turn down or keep his hook after pulling first. He decided to keep it and sweat it out through the rest of the class.

After watching every tractor make its pass, Dylan and Frerking Motorsports came out on top with a 1st PLACE FINISH! 🥇🏆

We are deeply saddened to hear about the the loss of Rubin Fortuin and two others from Europe who were on their way to Bowling Green to share in the sport that brings pulling fans from around the world together.

In 2023, Rubin stopped at the Illinois State Fair and spent time talking with Dylan and the crew. A memory we’ll always cherish.

Rubin is pictured down below in the comments next to Dylan wearing the black shirt.

Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and friends. Rest in peace, Rubin. You will be missed.

After wrapping up our Xcaliber Pulling Association season, last week, we ventured north for an ITPA pull at the Illinois State Fair!

Dylan was 7th hook out of 8. A tricky starting line made for a tough launch, and once the front end came up, he hooked hard left and had to ride the brake for a good bit.

We ended up 2nd place, just 5 feet shy of 1st! 🥈

Any night you can drive it off the track under its own power and finish 2nd in a field where anyone can win is a good night!

🏆 DYLAN IS YOUR 2026 XCALIBER MODIFIED POINTS CHAMPION! 3 YEARS IN A ROW!

The final Xcaliber Pulling hook of the season was on August 14th in Quincy Illinois. Dylan took the sled to 360 FEET for the WIN and to secure the Points Championship!!!

What a season!
7 STRAIGHT WINS to begin the season.
A 3rd.
A 2nd.
Then a WIN to finish it off.

Couldn’t have asked for a better season!

But we’re not done yet 😈. We’ve still got some ITPA hooks left this season, and we’re still itching to make some more noise.

To everyone who supported us, cheered us on, traveled with us, or helped in the pits—THANK YOU! We couldn’t do this without you!

At Bowling Green, Missouri, we made an impact on a very special girl, Madyson Hawkins.

Madyson doesn’t like big crowds or loud noises, but she and her family came to Bowling Green to check out the fair. While they were there, she saw our tractor—and she fell in love with the pink and blue colors of it.

She stayed until our class pulled and watched us make our pass. But that wasn’t the end of it.

Madyson convinced her parents to make the trip to Palmyra, Missouri, to watch us pull again. This time, she was brave enough to come down into the pits, see the tractor up close, and take some pictures with it. Her whole family stayed until our class was up and watched us make our pass.

Moments like this are what make everything we do worth it.

It’s easy to get caught up in the points race, making the perfect pass, checking tire pressures, and making sure every little detail is right. But every once in a while, you’re reminded that what we do is about so much more than pulling a tractor down a track.

If we can make a memory that someone like Madyson will carry with her, then every mile, every dollar, and every hour spent building this tractor is worth it.

Thank you, Madyson, for reminding us why we do this. ❤️

Dylan is away so Kevin went to go play!

Kevin took the "Family Tradition" to Palmyra Missouri for another Xcaliber Pulling Association hook last night. With one of THE closest finishes we have ever seen, Kevin comes out with a 2nd place finish only "3.96" inches behind 1st place and squeaking out in front of 3rd place by "0.72" of an inch!

In this sport every inch matters and we fought for every inch!
