Let me introduce you to Scales of Gold "Magnum", hes 4 years old, ran his last race 7/6/2026 st finger lakes in NY. What makes him special other than being a handsome boy, we own his mom, Holy Gold "Heidi". Last October I emailed RRP about his brother. Out of the blue, Sarah who owns Henry, emailed me and said hes loved, amazing and not going anywhere soon. But, his brother is retiring and here's his trainers info. 32 hour round trip ride to NY and back, we now own one of heidis babies. He will learn how to be a horse for a few months get some down time and maybe, we will attempt to do the RRP challenge next year with him

As many people may know. We have a few broodmares here at the farm. Jenna Dube has picked them carefully and has chosen studs she has researched extensively. The first foal was born the end of June. Sadly he fought hard, he spent 4 days fighting at an emergency vet hospital downstate. Pogo sadly succumbed to an infection he didnt have the energy or ability to fight anymore.
Saturday July 11th, we will be having a fundraiser here at the farm, 266 Belanger Rd Caribou. His passing wasn't easy for any of us, especially Jenna and Gossip, another hardship arises. The cost of his treatment. We are holding the fundraiser to help Jenna recoup what she can, so she can continue beyond his loss.
We will have amazing baked goods, pony rides, meet and greet with the farm animals, and photo ops with pigs, cows, calves, and horses all by donation. Let's get together for some farm fun and help a young woman.

Recap of Day 1 of the first weekend of showing for the year. Games day ended with a strong showing from the farm family. Some bumps and some reality checks. Penny took Reserve Champion in Leadline, for her first show ever in a super competitive division, beyond proud of her. Jenna and Riot took Champion in WT games not bad for Riots for show. Roo made it through the day, won a class, walked a few classes, and ended the day with positivity and a good experience. Alvira took to the show on her own this year and held her own, couldn't be happier with her and her spicy mare. Daxton! At 3 years old was in his first show. He gained confidence and smiles! He had the best time ever and took 2nd and 3rd in many classes. Aubree and Jasper rocked their first show. Learning jasper really is scared of everything, especially water cup water! They held their own in the competitive leadline class.
Sophia had to work with magic and her need for speed. After some peep talks and ideas, they ended the day doing very well and understanding 3ach other more

Thursday afternoon Moon gave us the most adorable little bull calf, Luigi.
Sophia's dad's birthday was also Friday. As a gift, we named him Luigi since her dad's name is Mario. Everyone agreed, its perfect.

The warm weather wasn't overshadowed by the strong winds the last 2 days. Most of our barn family took advantage of it, enjoying trail rides! No better way to spend time with friends and horses. We rode in thr outdoor arena then hit the trails. Yesterday Zara took to the trails and didn't kill me. She didn't even try with just one moment of surprise. Today was Roos turn. What a Rockstar she was!!! Didnt bat an eye and she was leader of the group way ahead of everyone else. I do believe she will ride out on her own no problem.
We will give penny and alvira 2 more years before we let them loose on trails on their own. Their trusty mares truly are something

A little time invested and we are halfway there. At least the poles are half up.

Motivation is waking up and doing it. Even when you think you can’t or want to stay snuggled in your bed. Get up and get it done. Today, I start my morning riding routine. Excuses aren’t acceptable, I’m getting up and doing this for myself. Today Addie is my partner. Let’s see if she’s a morning horse or not. lol!

The official barn door greeter. Tim gave her some hay this morning and she has mixed it into her bed and made it more comfy. Fluffy (or Honda) as she’s known as is a very clean picky pig.

Spending the evening with my favorite person Jenna. Shedding two mares. This pile is from the sweetest old lady we have here. Rocky loved her spa night. It’s what we do for our boarders when they can’t always be here.
