The 2026 Maine Moose Lottery is officially open until May 18th 2026 at 11:59pm (ET). Don't miss the opportunity to put your name in for a once in a lifetime hunt! Here is a list of the zones and permit numbers for both resident and non-resident hunters. Please keep in mind when applying, that we only guide in zones 1-6. If you need assistance getting signed up, don't hesitate to reach out, we will help and answer any questions the best we can.

Now that it's officially spring, it's safe to admit we are not so patiently counting down the days until they start looking like this. From backcountry ponds, remote lakes, or slow moving rivers, we offer both fishing and float trips all across Northern Maine! A quick 2 man limit from this morning with some fine shooting, 4 shots, 4 birds. It's always nice to limit out without having to reload and be walking back to the truck with the sunrise! Congratulations Doug, can't wait to do it again very soon!

Once again, Susanne Hamilton large game blood tracking and I will be stationing ourselves (with super canine trio Fritzi, Aldo, and Juniper) in Ashland this week for the September moose season.

We will be tracking in zones 2, 3, 5 and 6 as much as humanly possible.

This big girl stopped by one of our bear baits this morning to remind us that moose season is right around the corner!
