Hank found another one today that was shot last night! .4 miles from the last blood. When in doubt back out! Congrats to the hunter!

Hank found a good one this morning! Trevor called us last night and said he thought he shot this bruiser high and possibly forward. He said the deer was slightly quartering to him when he shot. Since he was unsure about the shot he backed out without even looking for blood. After discussing the shot we all decided it was best to give the deer over night. With minimal blood and a nasty thicket this deer made us work for it but Hank made short work of it! Congrats again Trevor!

On Monday morning Hank was called out for a doe that was shot Sunday evening. The hunter was unsure of the shot location and backed out after the shot. Hank ran the track and quickly confirmed the deer was still alive. Just 2 days later she shows back up on camera. It’s always nice getting some reassurance for the hunter and knowing for sure that the shot was not fatal.

With the season upon us Hank will be available to help recover more deer! Tracks will be taken on a 1st come 1st serve basis. Be sure to give your deer plenty of time to expire and please don’t grid search before calling! When in doubt just call a dog you won’t regret it!

We got a call from Twin Oaks Outfitters asking for Hank to come out and help recover a late season buck! The deer was shot slightly quartering to at 20 yards and the hunter hit a little further forward than expected. After tracking 125 yards and finding two beds they decided to back out and call us in. Upon our arrival Hank immediately took to the trail and covered the initial 125 yards to the first set of beds. From there we went another 200-300 finding two more beds and minimal blood along the way. The final 75-100 yards there was no blood until we found the late season bruiser in his final bed absolutely hidden up against a large downfall. Congrats to the young man on his largest buck to date! Glad we could be a part of such a great story!

Josh reached out to us late last night and said he shot his biggest deer the day before around 4pm. Josh took to the trail approx 1 hr after the shot and realized he jumped the buck so he backed out over night and began tracking again the next morning! After exhausting all other search options someone mentioned our page to him! After talking about the shot and seeing pictures of the arrow it was determined josh shot the deer further back than he initially thought. Due to some prior work commitments Josh had to wait until 1pm today to allow us to come run Hank! After a 900+ yard track (majority without blood) I think Josh is now a believer in Hanks ability! 45 hours old highly contaminated tracks are hard for even the best dogs and we couldn’t be happier to have been there to help Josh recover an absolute hammer of a buck! Congrats again buddy!
