It's a wrap! Thank you to 13 Moons Ranch for hosting our Aikido program for the last 4 years! We have filled the space with so much joy and discipline, and have loved how the land and space have held us. Perhaps we'll be back one day for a seminar or camp? We had our final Crystal River Aikikai test on Monday, and it was a good one! Congrats to this new green belt! Your hard work paid off, and the whole class was celebrating. 👏

Some of our older kids class members practicing randori, the art of defending oneself against multiple attackers. This is a great practice in building confidence, staying in control, and at the same time flowing with the situation.

A few principles we worked on are: 1) focusing forward/ not backing up, 2) staying on the edge of the circle whenever possible, and 3) keeping it simple: choosing a few techniques you know well, rather than trying to get fancy and then fumbling under fire.

We are so proud of their experience and courage!
