Thank you to everyone who joined us for the inaugural Homestead Memorial Tournament honoring Donald W. Powell.
We are incredibly grateful to the players, family, friends, and supporters who helped make the day so special. It was a fantastic day of golf, food, and friends, but more importantly, an opportunity to bring people together at the Homestead to remember him, celebrate his life, and share in the place and community that meant so much to him.
In his memory, we planted a tree near the barn as a lasting tribute to his legacy and hope that it will serve as a reminder of his enduring connection to the Homestead.
18-Hole Memorial Round
Congratulations to our Memorial Round winners following the morning’s 18-hole scramble:
Men’s Division: Brian Bebla & Ed Skorupa

Mixed Division: Joe Lloyd & Tiffany Shaffer
9-Hole Championship Round
The top-12 qualifying teams from the Memorial Round electing to participate advanced to the afternoon 9-hole better ball Championship Round. Scores carried over from the morning, with the overall tournament champions determined by the full 27-hole tournament total.
Tournament Champions: Jim Keegan & Pat Wilding
Jim and Pat battled all day and finished strong down the stretch to record an impressive 27-hole total of 104 (+4) en route to their win!
2nd Place: Brandon Matthews & John Dyser, 105 (+5)
3rd Place: Tiffany Roxby & Nickolas Altieri, 106 (+6)
Congratulations to all of our winners, and thank you again to everyone who played, helped, attended, or supported the tournament in any way.
We could not have asked for a more fitting way to honor his memory and we look forward to carrying on this tradition at the Homestead for many years to come.
