With approximately 90 tournaments hosted annually throughout the country and prize money ranging from $10,000 to $100,000, the USTA Pro Circuit is the pathway to the US Open and tour-level competition for aspiring tennis players and a frequent battleground for established professionals. The USTA launched its Pro Circuit 33 years ago to provide players with the opportunity to gain professional rank

ing points, and it has since grown to become the largest developmental tennis circuit in the world, offering nearly $3 million in prize money. Last year, more than 1,000 men and women from more than 70 countries competed in cities nationwide. Mardy Fish, Maria Sharapova, John Isner, Caroline Wozniacki, James Blake, Li Na and Andy Murray are among today’s top stars who began their careers on the USTA Pro Circuit. South Seas Island Resort Women's Pro Classic will be the last tournament on the women's 2013 Pro Circuit calendar and an important opportunity for the players to increase their year-end rankings to gain direct acceptance into the Main Draw or Qualifying for the Australian Open.

Yesterday, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit released their highly anticipated annual issue and little did we know that 2014 US Open Singles Finalist Caroline Wozniacki was included in it AND was also shot on-site at the beautiful South Seas Island Resort!

And that's a wrap for our 2014 Women's Pro Classic at the South Seas Island Resort! Congratulations to our Singles Winner and wild card recipient Edina-Gallovits Hall who topped Petra Martic 6-2, 6-2 this morning.

Due to more inclement weather in Captiva at the South Seas Island Resort, we unfortunately have to postpone the Singles Final to MONDAY at 9:00 am.

Congratulations to our Doubles Winners Gabriela Dabrowski and Anna Tatishvili on their win in straight sets earlier today and to Gabriela for defending her 2013 title!
