After two years my book is finally finished. These are my memories of a very special time. The flight of the DISC (Frisbee) ignited an energy beyond our expectations. New sports were born and I was able to be a part of this movement.
I have included as many results and names from my World Disc Championships and Disc Golf events. The story is personal and if you were there it will hit home with you. Now entrepreneurs have arrived and have taken Disc Sports to another level. I applaud their efforts and look forward to the future.

Join the Fun with the Masters Cup this coming May!


The Masters Cup Update is heating up as the first day of competition is quickly arriving! Our 40+ age protected division alone has 100+ registrants. We are taking 120 competitors in total leaving only 20 spots left so make sure to sign up now online. The MPO showing 60 preregistered with a number of talented competitors including Cody Kirkland the current Overall World Champion. The AM divisions will begin taking registrations early February. We will be offering a junior division to promote the growth of our sport so make sure to grab one of our 220 spots available.

Last year I was asked to be the senior advisor for the 2023 Masters Cup. We made some changes. DGA stepped up and gave away a basket to every AM, 220 competitors. We called the age protected division, The Reunion, allowing older seniors to register early ending up with 120 competitors. Reunion players had three rounds of shotgun starts. A big success. The open field had 109 competitors with two time winner Greg Barsby winning in a sudden death playoff.

This year I have been asked to produce the event and as anyone knows I like to do things differently. The AMs will play all three rounds at DeLaveaga disc golf course T-times, May 3, 4, and 5th. Age protected May 9,10 and 11. MPO and FPO May 10, 11 and 12. The first two rounds will be shotgun starts and finals will be T-times. We will have two rounds at DeLaveaga and one round at Pinto Lake Championship Disc Golf Course.

Last year we were saddened by the passing of Jonathon Baldwin. It was a very tearful time. This year I want to honor his legacy as a player, champion, friend and honor the gift he gave to our disc golf family. We are producing a fundraising disc displaying his art work.
All proceeds will go to the 2024 Masters Cup production
