Team Tola Parents Club Capitola Junior Lifeguards Parents Club - for Team Tola members past and present

The Capitola Junior Lifeguard Parents Club is a non-profit organizaion founded in 1982 by a former group of Capitola Lifeguards and parents of Junior Lifeguards. The mission of the CJLPC is to assist the City of Capitola to preserve, complement, and enhance the Capitola Junior Lifeguard Program through fundraising, collage scholarships, JG program scholarships, public program awareness as well as event and equipment support.

Did you know there’s only 8 more weeks of school?? As excited as are for summer- that’s just nuts! But in preparation save the date for our Summer Kick Off Party! On Thursday June 4th, Team TOLA Parents Club welcomes all JG families to join! Grab your official merch, get a copy of the summer schedule, make sure you have your parking pass for the first day & tacos Yay!! Who’s coming??

TEAM TOLA and the Junior Lifeguard Program is so much more than just beach camps! Look what can be achieved!? Last year some of our incredible instructors traveled halfway around the world to compete with Team USA in New Zealand at the 2025 International Surf Rescue Challenge! Our very own Munchie Price, Cheryl Brightfield & Isaiah Hollis, along with Hayden Mandela and Finley Dobkin from Santa Cruz, not only competed but they excelled, with placings for all! We are so proud of these incredible athletes and how lucky are we that they are the ones coaching our little groms this summer!

You guys are an inspiration to us all 💙❤️💪🏻!

We are so excited to see you all this summer! Here are a couple of reminders:

Registration is Tues 3/24 @ 8:30am for Capitola residents, Weds 3/25 at 8:30 am for non-residents
Check the City Website for updates
Make sure that your Recreation account is up to date before you register (link in bio)

We are honored to announce the recipients of our 2025 college scholarships! These amazing individuals show the true spirit of Team Tola and we couldn’t be more excited for them. We were also fortunate enough to be able to extend the Maddog Scholarship to two incredible individuals who exemplified the memory of Greg.

It is important to note that all the merchandise sales, raffle items and donations have made it possible for us to offer $30,000 in scholarships this year!  We love our community so much and thank them for their continued support!
