Fun day yesterday! Drove over to Cape Meares to get some photos of Three Arch Rocks. While there I saw one of the two Peregrine Falcons that nest in the area. Actually saw it twice.

Spent a few hours off Three Arch Rocks yesterday morning before the ocean "roughed up." Lots of activity with bunches of Murres snoozing after a breakfast of candlefish (?). Did you know they have the ability to sleep with only 1/2 of their brain? This allows them to rest while still remaining alert for predators.
