Green Acres Horse Farm over on New England Road is looking for someone who would like to work part time. You need to be a physically active person.
You don't need horse experience as we will train you to do the work that keeps the horses in a clean and safe environment.
You do need to live within 20 minutes from the farm.
We have been fortunate to find a number of people over the years that want to work on a farm and be near the horses. But do not have any horse handling experience or rode as kids. We are also happy to train a person at their comfort level to work with the horses if desired.
Most of our shifts are related to the horses' meal however we do have a few other projects that can be done throughout the day.
Here are the shifts i would like to fill immediately. You don't have to be able to do all of them, three is the minimum shifts per week.
Monday, Tuesday, and Friday mornings- Shifts start at 6:30am but start time for this work can start at 7am approximately 2 hours
Sunday and Monday evenings. Shift starts at 4:30 but your part would start at 5. This shift is generally 1.5 hours
