WE'RE HEADED TO THE JUNIOR OLYMPICS! 🚨🏅❤️💙
Y'all... WE DID IT!! These incredible young ladies punched their ticket to the AAU Junior Olympics by qualifying in the 4x100 relay, 100 meters, 200 meters, 800 meters. Long jump, shot put, and discus, and we couldn't be more proud!
This wasn't luck. This was early mornings, late evenings, sweat, tears, sacrifices, and believing in themselves when nobody else knew their names. Now they have the opportunity to compete on one of the biggest stages in youth track and field while representing 44JOMO Athletics, our city, and our community.
Now we're asking our village to help us get there.

Some moments are bigger than medals. 💛🖤

Before the 4x100 relay our girls got the chance for a picture with one of the fastest 9-year-olds in the nation, Micah Roberts. That was such a cool and humbling moment. They had been asking me all day if they could find her and get a picture. Unfortunately I was super busy with the meet. She saw them at check in and this happened.

It was a reminder that hard work gets noticed, and respect recognizes respect. We're proud of these girls—not just for how they compete, but for the way they represent our team everywhere they go.

Keep grinding, stay humble, and never stop believing. You never know who's watching. 📸🏃🏾‍♀️✨

🔥 FIRST SEASON. FIRST THROW EVENTS. FIRST TRIP TO THE JUNIOR OLYMPICS!! 🔥

Y'all make some noise for BJ!! 💪🏾

He stepped into shot put and discus for the very first time this season and punched his ticket to the Junior Olympics in BOTH events! 🤯🏅

That didn't happen by luck. It happened because of hard work, consistency, and a willingness to learn something completely new. Every practice, every throw, every correction added up to this moment.

Some people spend years chasing this goal. BJ did it in his FIRST season. That's crazy work! 💯

We are beyond proud of you. Keep trusting the process, stay hungry, and let's see what you can do on the biggest stage. The job ain't finished...but this is one HECK of a start!

A relay is more than four fast athletes—it's trust, teamwork, and believing in the person next to you.

Today, Karsiin, E'myni, Zayda, and Justice put it all together in the 4x100 relay, blazing their way to a 2nd-place finish and earning their spot at the AAU Junior Olympics! 🏅🔥

We couldn't be prouder of these young ladies for showing what happens when hard work meets opportunity. This team has been grinding all season, and today they got rewarded.

💙💛 FIRST TIME. FIRST 800. JUNIOR OLYMPICS BOUND. 💙💛

Some moments deserve to be celebrated a little louder...

Today, Harmonee stepped onto the track and ran the 800 meters for the very first time. No experience. No previous race to compare it to. Just courage, trust, and heart.

She crossed the finish line in 3:08, earned 4th place, and punched her ticket to the AAU Junior Olympics! 🎉🏅

You can teach form. You can coach strategy. But you can't teach the kind of grit she showed today. She trusted the process, embraced the challenge, and proved that sometimes the biggest victories come when you're willing to step outside your comfort zone.

Harmonee, we are incredibly proud of you. This is just the beginning, and we can't wait to see what you do next.

This weekend isn't just another track meet... it's another chance to prove to these kids that hard work really does pay off.
I'm not gonna lie, coaching gets overwhelming sometimes. There are workouts to plan, registrations, travel, making sure every kid has what they need, fundraising, encouraging them when they're doubting themselves... and somehow still trying to keep my own sanity. 😂 But then I watch these athletes step on that track, and it reminds me exactly why we do this.
Win, lose, PR, or have an off day—we're showing up. Every race is a lesson. Every jump is growth. Every finish line builds character.

I'm proud of every single athlete wearing that 44JOMO Athletics Track Club uniform this weekend. Y'all have put in the work. Now it's time to trust your training, compete with confidence, and leave everything on the track. Don't race scared. Don't second-guess yourselves. Go out there and make people remember your name.

To our families, thank you for every early morning, every late-night practice, every donation, every ride, every "you got this." It doesn't go unnoticed.

No matter what happens this weekend, we're already winning because these kids are learning discipline, resilience, and what it means to keep showing up when things get hard.

Let's go make some noise.

Today we had an awesome day. Every athlete that competed today advanced to regionals and we also came home with 9 medals. It's been a long day so I'm about to rest but I will be uploading videos and stats tomorrow. We couldn't be any more proud of these kids today. They all did an amazing job.
