The puzzle is officially complete! 🧩

Yesterday, the final puzzle piece was found by Janessa, Cooper, Talasha, and Vanessa! Thank you for helping bring this community puzzle adventure to a successful finish.

These four Master Treasure Seekers will be recognized at Parks & Recreation Day at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, at the Osage Centre. Together with three other Master Treasure Seeker groups, they will place each piece and reveal "The Power of Parks and Recreation.”

Step up to the plate at the Cape Grand Slam Tournament!

Join City of Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation at Shawnee Park Sports Complex for a fun-filled weekend of baseball, softball, and T-Ball action on June 26–28, 2026!

Divisions Available:

Baseball: 1st-2nd Grade, 3rd-4th Grade, 5th-6th Grade, and 7th-8th Grade
Softball: 1st-2nd Grade, 3rd-5th Grade, and 6th-8th Grade
T-Ball: June 26 only

Entry Fee:
$150 – Baseball & Softball Teams
$100 – T-Ball Teams

Looking for an all-day, fun camp with lots of variety?! Then sign up for Camp PLAYMO!

CAMP PLAYMO is a well-rounded camp designed for ages 6-12, and guarantees lots of fun and excitement! Snacks are provided, but each child must bring a sack lunch unless otherwise noted. First day meets at the A.C. Brase Arena building. $120 per week. Camp runs from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Childcare is provided from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Riverfront Yoga is back—and we're moving back to the Downtown Riverfront!

Join us as Riverfront Yoga returns to its beautiful home along the Mississippi River. Start your weekend with an energized yoga flow and a scenic riverfront backdrop. No experience is required—yoga is a personal journey and a judgment-free zone. Every body is different, so do what you can and move at your own pace.

🎉 Celebrate International Yoga Day with us this Saturday, June 20! For this Saturday only, class will be FREE for all participants.

Classes are held outdoors at the Riverfront steps near the flood gates at Water Street and Broadway Street. Please bring a yoga mat, towel, and water. Follow on Facebook for weather-related updates (no make-up classes will be offered).

Enjoy watching the movie How To Train Your Dragon (Live-Action) in the water! Tubes will be provided. No personal rafts or inner tubes allowed.
