September riding hits different. 🚴‍♂️

The summer crowds have thinned out, the air has that first hint of cool, and the roads feel like they belong to you again. If you've been waiting all summer for the perfect conditions, this is your month. Get out there while the riding is still this good. 🙌

Here’s another ride opportunity! Weather for the Saturday morning Time Trial looks terrific. 1st rider goes off at 7:30 then a minute later the next. I’ll be riding easy from the shop leaving at 6:30. Cya Saturday morning!
Last Saturday’s Time Trial (5 sep 2026): 6 participants, 31 points awarded, 78° F, sunny, 90% humidity, no wind. Overall points leader is Ben Prestien (156) followed by Eric Boyer (58) and Rebecca Preston (52).
At this point in the season, “Big Ben” is a lock for the top of the season’s podium. The other two spots remain in play: Eric Boyer (58), Rebecca Preston (52), Ted Westendorf (45), Terry Crocker (40) and Josh Smith (35).

Bike rack setup matters more than most people realize. 😅

A few things to check before every trip: make sure the rack is rated for the weight of your bikes, that each bike is secured at the frame and not just by a wheel, and that nothing is spinning or shifting at highway speeds.

A quick tug test before you pull out of the driveway can save a lot of heartbreak down the road. Come in and ask us about rack options if you're still figuring out your setup. 🙌

Family rides this month have a little extra magic to them. ✨

The summer rush is over, the evenings are longer than they'll be soon, and there is still just enough warmth to make an after-dinner neighborhood loop feel like a real adventure. ☀️

Take a ride with Ben, last Saturday Ben our points leader wore a chest mounted camera. Then come out Saturday at 7:30am and join the fun. We start just north of County Road 621. As usual I’ll be riding easy from the shop at 6:30.

Trail riding rewards you in ways that are hard to describe until you experience them. 🙌

The light is lower, the colors are starting to turn, and views like this one feel like they were made for this time of year. If you've been thinking about getting into mountain biking, September is genuinely one of the best months to start. 😎
