5 Tips to Return the Sights Back to the Target Faster
1. Build a Strong Grip Before the Shot
A weak grip allows the gun to move excessively during recoil. Apply firm pressure with both hands—especially with your support hand—to control recoil and bring the sights back naturally.
2. Keep Your Eyes Focused on the Front Sight
Don't look over the gun or chase the target. Stay visually locked on the front sight (or dot) throughout the recoil cycle so you can quickly confirm when the sights return.
3. Drive the Gun Straight Back and Straight Forward
Proper body position and grip should allow the pistol to recoil straight up and down rather than side to side. If the gun tracks consistently, the sights will return to the same place every time.
4. Maintain Trigger Contact During Recoil
Keep your finger in contact with the trigger as the gun cycles. Reset the trigger during recoil so you're ready to fire again as soon as the sights return.
5. Lean Slightly Forward and Stay Aggressive
An athletic stance with your weight slightly forward helps absorb recoil. If you lean backward, the gun will move more and take longer for the sights to settle.
Bonus Tip:
Watch the sights lift and return. Don't blink or close your eyes. Advanced shooters see the sights rise in recoil and track them all the way back to the target.

5 Tips for Proper Shooting Stance

1. Build an Athletic Position
Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and your weight balanced on the balls of your feet. Think of the same stance you would use to catch a football or defend yourself.
2. Lean Slightly Forward
Lean your upper body slightly toward the target from the waist. Avoid leaning backward, which allows recoil to push you off balance.
3. Keep Your Weight Forward
Place approximately 60% of your weight on your front foot. A forward weight bias helps control recoil and keeps the pistol tracking consistently.
4. Maintain a Natural Position
Your stance should feel comfortable and natural. If you feel stiff or strained, adjust your foot position until you can maintain the stance without tension.
5. Stay Consistent
Use the same stance every time you train. Consistency builds repeatable accuracy and helps you diagnose problems faster.

🎯 4 Tips For Accuracy Success

1. Build Your Grip FirstA weak grip causes movement before the bullet leaves the barrel. Establish a firm, consistent grip every time you pick up the pistol.
2. Focus On The Front SightThe target may be blurry. The rear sight may be slightly blurry. Your front sight should be the clearest thing you see before pressing the trigger.
3. Press The Trigger Straight BackDon't slap, jerk, or rush the trigger. Apply smooth, steady pressure straight to the rear until the shot breaks.
4. Follow Through After The ShotKeep looking at the sights and maintain your grip after the gun fires. Many shooters stop shooting before the bullet leaves the barrel.
