Hello everyone! We hope that this post finds everyone being safe and trying to stay busy around the house during these crazy times.
We wanted to reach out and let everyone know that we have decided to finish our league as it stands. We will not start back up again until late August, as that should be when winter leagues begin again.
Ron Kordick and Krissy Stewart have diligently worked together in finalizing the prize fund.
Matter of fact, everyone should be getting their portion of the prize fund in today or tomorrow’s mail via check being sent from the Bowland corporate office.
How this all worked.....
1. After reimbursing bowlers that had paid in advance, we had about 52% of our original prize fund.
2. So, we decided to pay out “half” of the prize fund to each bowler (where their team finished in position) for the first 2 segments.
3. The third segment was not considered in paying out any monies by position since only a Few weeks had been bowled.
4. The teams that had paid the $200 sponsor fee..... it was divided equally between all 3 team members and reimbursed back to your team. (The ones that did not pay it, did not get a portion of those monies)
5. If any bowler was in arrears, it was deducted from the monies they were due to receive.
6. After figuring all of this, each bowler was able to get back around $57 each for each segment. So, just over $114 was given to each bowler after everything was figured as stated above for segments 1 and 2.
7. Since, for the safety of everyone, AND for us not to have to wait for our payout.... there was an additional $1 taken from each bowler to cover the cost of the check, envelope and stamp that was incurred for the mailing of these checks.
This all may sound confusing, so if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Krissy or Ron Kordick for further questions or explanation.
We hope we get to see all of you real soon! Please take care!
Fingers crossed that we are all able to get back to normalcy real, real soon!!!!!
