📣😁📣 We Have an Exciting Announcement 📣😁📣
Effective Monday, July 17th 2023, United Captain Services will be going to a Very Limited Operation. Captain Josh accepted a position with Edward Jones as a Financial Advisor in Cape Coral 😀. Our current "Boat Watch" clients as well as anyone who is scheduled for an "Owner's Trip" will remain intact and business as usual. Future trips and training sessions will be deferred to other Captains we have fantastic working relationships with.

United Captain Services is a family owned and operated company that provided everyone with a top notch level of service and attention to detail in the boating community. We made "Building Boating Confidence" more than a tagline, it was our mission✅!

We have been fortunate to work with the best vendors, captains, mechanics, detailers, marinas, brokers, and most importantly our clients. We developed some fantastic relationships along the way. Because of this company, many of those relationships are now very good Friends. Boating was just a way to connect us....

A HUGE Thank you to everyone we worked with over the years. A bigger Thank You to my Family for always being there when I needed them! ❤️

This has been a fantastic journey and we are proud to be a part of the boating community of SWFL. I look forward remaining in contact with everyone along the way. Please be sure and wave when you see us the water!

🇺🇸Ron was a boater many moons ago, retired from a long career, and relocated with his wife to Cape Coral. They are ready to get back out on the water and enjoy boating again! 😁They purchased a boat that made them feel safe and fit their boating needs. Small enough to get into his local fiahing spots but large/stable enough they felt comfortable taking guests across Charlotte Harbor when it was a little choppy. Solid choice and logic! 😎

✅Today we emphasized docking at one of his favorite restaurants and fuel docks. He wanted to focus on twin engine operation and also being prepped for doing to trip single handed. Ron did several touch and gos at the fuel dock and then I took him to the tight back corner of the restaurant dock. 👍He took us in/out singlehandedly several times with the twin engine controls, never touching his wheel. He nailed it!

🏆Now, Ron is confident in his abilities and able to take his wife to their favorite restaurant by boat! This is what it's all about folks!

A great local water navigation trip with another repeat client. Mike is a long time boater and looking to accomplish several things today. Happy to hear we hit the marks on:
✅ Locate and dock at many of the local waterfront restaurants and Hotspot beach locations. Gathering first hand knowledge of their access.
✅ Navigating large wakes from Motor Yachts to keep his family safe and enjoy the ride, while still being efficient
✅ Proper use of tracks on his Garmin and how/when to save/delete them to prevent "spaghetti" on the screens. Calling them up in future.
✅Proper cruise speeds and fuel management to optimize range on longer runs. How to efficiently run the boat.
✅ Operations of twin engine docking on the new, larger upgraded boat. Proper docking and fender placement while doing overnights for tidal swing

The water quality is awesome right now. Let's get you out and show you where to take your guests by boat!

The Lee County Sheriff's Office and Lee County Government would like to remind residents and visitors that the Sanibel Causeway and the causeway islands are an active construction zone. Motorists should use caution and some activities are prohibited while the project is underway.
