Hey Cape Cod Soccer Players! ⚽

Monday nights are for the game. Come join us for weekly co-ed soccer in Dennis — competitive, fun, and full of people who genuinely love to play.

We make balanced teams right at the field, set up as many pitches as we need, and run short games all the way to 9:15pm. Bring a friend or two — we'll do our best to keep your crew together.

Intermediate level and up, all are welcome. Strong competition, clean play — this is a group that loves soccer and respects the game.

The Annual Town Meeting is at 6PM at D-Y Intermediate/Middle School (286 Station Ave, South Yarmouth), and Article 13 — the Community Center vote — is on the agenda.

⚠️ Can't make it at 6? COME ANYWAY. You can arrive late. Article 13 won't be first, so don't let timing stop you from showing up.

This community center means:
✅ Youth sports & after-school programs
✅ Adult recreation & health
✅ A gathering place for ALL of Dennis
✅ Safer streets and stronger connections

Wixon closed and we lost 2 gyms. The need didn't go away — the space did. Tonight we have a chance to change that.

We can't change the minds of the people in that room. We need to change the room.

⚠️ Dennis. We need to talk.

There's a vote THIS TUESDAY that will decide whether our town gets a community center — and if we don't show up, it's already lost.

I was at the meeting about the community center idea. The room was nearly 90% people over 60. And they were against it. We can't change their minds — but we CAN change the room.

That's exactly what Tuesday is. Our chance to change the room.

This vote is for YOU if you are:
👨‍👩‍👧 A young family in Dennis
⚽ An active adult who plays sports
🏃 A parent thinking about your kids' future
🏠 Anyone who wants Dennis to be a place worth staying

A community center means courts.Programs for kids, space for CASL adult leagues, Space for ALL of us — not just one generation, a place for the whole community.

Congrats to the Dodgefathers for winning CASL: Cape Adult Sports League 2026 Arctic Winter Dodgeball League.
7 weeks of regular season, 11 teams, 176 matchups, gave us the seedings. Dodge deez nuts were the defending champs and coming in with only 1 L and 15 Ws. Back to back is never an easy task though.
The first set of games there were no surprises. 8 seed Dodgystyle took out 9 seed Freeballers. 7 seed throwing shade took down beachballers, and 6 seed Untouchaballs handled their business against Seal Team 9.
The early quarter final game of Cannonball vs Dodgefathers put the eventual champs to the test early. They needed overtime to move along in the bracket.
Dodge deez nuts were able to put an end to DodgyStyles run. Ouch My Balls was in a close match before breaking the dam open and winning several games in a row to put an end to the untouchaballs season.
The 7 seed Throwin Shade used the momentum of their play-in game to shock the number 2 seed Dodge a doodle Doo. Knocking out the 2nd winner of last years seasons.
The semis matchups were close and intense. Ouch My Balls as the 3 seed was up against the 7 seed cinderella team, throwin shad. The famous ouch my balls curveballs were not enough and Throwin shade was off to the finals.
Dodge deez nuts fell into a hole early on the weak side vs dodgefathers. Halftime they had dug a hole that seemed too deep. The champs made a solid push though and found themselves down by 3 with 4 to play. You have to win by 2 in playoffs, so there was still a chance they could force OT and kwep the repeat hopes alive. They took the first, the second, and in a dramatic come from behind game.. they took the third. Winning 3 hard battles in a row to force an extra game. The dodgefathers were nervous, but they were not going to let it be 4. Dodgefathers won that game and punched their ticket to the finals.
Two teams remained. The number 7 seed Throwin Shade was facing off against the 4 seed Dodgefathers in the CASL Winter Dodgeball finals. The dodgefathers were making their 4th appearance in the finals, but they had not been able to raise the cup. Whispers of a curse were heard. The 7 seed was a team that started the season 0/3 and lost 3 of their lost 4 in regular season. A classic tale of turning it up at the right time. Everyone is 0/0 playoff night. The game was back and forth to start, but little by little the dodgefathers were sneaking away. Throwing shade having to play that extra play-in match might have been effecting the players arms and legs. Winning 3 matches is hard, earning that bye to not have to win 4 was greatly helping dodgefathers. Throwin Shade made a final push at the end, but the time ran out on their dream. Overall a fantastic season. I hope that you all had fun. Now we are on to kickball!!
