Ready for life jackets and capsizing ☀️ Spots still available in our Level 1 beginner and Level 2 intermediate sailing camp weeks
~ June 8-10, June 15-19, July 6-10, July 13-17

Level 1- this is for beginner students to learn the basics of sailing, capsizing and knots- sailing on day 2 in pairs on and off the dock
Level 2- puts all the pieces together for long distance sailing in and around Kings Creek.

Level 3 - Make it all the way! In advanced sailing camp the campers put all their skills together to sail out into the open water of the Chespeake Bay!

The camps build upon themselves and it is highly encouraged for campers to attend 2weeks of camp ⛺️ You start with the basics of sailing, learn how to apply those to on-water games, and then put all their skills together for long distance sails!

Mark your calendars 🗓️ Sailing camp will be taking over Love Sign Beach

June 19–21, 2026, SailFest 250 will bring Cape Charles Harbor to life with tall ships, traditional boats, and a once-in-a-generation celebration of America’s 250th anniversary!

With that, this is more than a festival—it’s a chance to get out on the water, share stories, and help create unforgettable memories for families and kids.

As part of SailFest 250, the Sailing Camp will offer public sailing from Love Sign Beach on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, along with hands-on activities like knot tying and burgee painting.

This is where you come in. We’re inviting volunteers and sponsors to help make these on-the-water experiences possible. Whether you’ve sailed before or learned through camp, this is a meaningful way to give back and introduce new sailors to the magic of SailFest.

Saturday and Sunday afternoon 2-hr shifts helping with sailing, knot tying, and burgee painting.

Saling camp has 3 levels for your camper, beginner-intermediate-advanced. Each level builds on the next, which is why 2 weeks of camp is recommended. Campers gain a strong foundation of sailing and then build on that with games and fun activities!

Level 1+2, 2+3 or sign up for all 3!

~Big Boat camp is for those 13+, sailing Flying Scots and Tanzers!
~Advanced Race week - start to finish, regatta race prep ⛵️

As we begin to move into 2026, let's celebrate our community partnerships starting with with our hosting marina - Oyster Farm Marina

This will be our 7th year sailing on Kings Creek out of Oyster Farm Marina - We are located on F-dock, the southern-most extension and when driving into the marina, you can spot a few sailboats moored in the basin.

~ Keep an eye out for Friday night sailing at Cpier this summer 😎
