We are back! again! Yes, gym doors OPEN again Wednesday. Even though the parking lot looks like a bomb hit. Just say "bless you, new modern PVC sewer!" as you step across the sand strip. [New paving coming soon, to a parking lot near you.] We are starting with a little shorter morning hours while we get back to business: 6-10AM M-F, and 7-11AM Saturday. Get your workout done and out of the way before you go to the beach!

BLOOD mobile rescheduled!
We were all ready for our neighborhood bloodmobile tomorrow, but they had to reschedule. If you were already signed up, they will call you to be sure you know (and btw THANK you for signing up!).

New date: AUGUST 10, Tuesday, 10am-3pm.

I am very happy to see so many new people showing up at the gym lately! Welcome to all of our new neighbors! You will love this little town!

About our morning hours: We are sticking with our 'early riser' hours for the foreseeable future. My apologies to those of you who wish to come here after work, but we had to choose one end of the day or the other, and mornings won! Back in the old days (before the pandemic), most of the mid-day hours here were absolutely empty. Gosh, what were people doing... going to the beach or something crazy like that? ;)

So come in, get your sweat on, *then* head out for your beach day, full of virtue. That's our plan, anyway!

Bllooooodddd... The Bloodmobile is upping their game! If you donate here tomorrow (Tuesday May 25, 9am to 3 pm), they will give you $45 in gift cards! FORTY FIVE DOLLARS. It's quite the deal! I just booked my time slot (oneBlood.org) and I see there are a number of open slots. Come on down! Or up!

If you can't manage to book ahead, drop by, and knock on the door of that giant red bus. They'll let you know what times are available.

Bloodmobile TUESDAY! May 25, 9AM to 3PM, here in front of the gym. (8075 N Atlantic Ave). You can book your time slot online (oneblood.org) or drop in and knock on the bloodmobile door to see what times are available. They fill up fast, so book early!

AND fyi they just upped their "parting gift" package: A sunshade for your car (I really hope it is blood red), and a $20 (TWENTY bucks!!) gift card. and of course, they check your stats and your Covid antibody test.

Most important, you do that one small thing for the community of humans: give part of yourself.

If your appointment is before 11, you are welcome to wait inside the gym, in air conditioned comfort!
