That counter saw a LOT of life. ❤️

So many memories were made right here…
sunburns, river stories, lost sunglasses, new friendships, and the start of thousands of Guadalupe River adventures. 🌊☀️

The original Shanty Tubes counter in the early 2000s…
Before smartphones. Before selfies took 20 tries. Before social media.

Just river days, music, friends, family, and moments that somehow still feel like yesterday. ❤️

Some of you checked in at that very counter as teenagers… and now you bring your own kids tubing with us. That’s pretty special. 🙏

🚒 Community Win-Win! 🚒

Recently, something pretty incredible happened right here at Shanty Tubes!

We had a few old buses that no longer ran, and instead of just scrapping them, our local fire department reached out with an awesome idea—use one for a training drill.

This idea was put together by Brad Elkins, a Captain with the Canyon Lake Firefighters, who organized the training. As you can see in these photos, they put the bus to work for hands-on training exercises. Even cooler? All of the fire departments in Canyon Lake, Texas were able to utilize the setup for training. 🙌

And the best part… after the training was complete, they hauled the bus off our hands too. Talk about a win-win!

We couldn’t be happier knowing we were able to support the incredible men and women who help keep our community safe every day. ❤️
