We have been working with Design Engineering, Inc. to develop a heat shield specifically designed to fit the NRT Autosports 4.0 Aluminum Fuel Rail. I got this update pic today. It looks like DEI almost have the first article ready. Stay tuned!

The Classic EZ Deflator is the quickest, most efficient way to air down at the trail head. No bags full of hoses and a manifold to deploy and repack. Light weight and small enough to fit in your center console or glove box.

The only casualty from our Rubicon Trail trip in July was a very unhappy Power Steering Pump. I put in a new stock replacement and dressed it up with a GenRight Off Road pulley.

I used Google AI to paint the interior and engine compartment off white. Its time to paint tje tubes. They have been raw metal since the car was finished in 2017. Keeping the rust at bay has been probably my least favorite part of the jeep. I like the rally look. STEEL-IT Coatings makes a Dove Grey color that will work really well, Its not for everyone. My daughter isn't a fan 🤣

Trans is out! Im on schedule to have the motor on a stand by the end of the weekend.

The Transfercase is out! Ill finish taking the trans out tomorrow.

Today's teardown progress. Exhaust, Drivlines, front body panels removed and Transmission and Transfercase drained. My ambitious plan is to have the trans out Thursday and the motor on a stand by the end of the weekend.

Im going to be pulling the motor, but before I do i wanted to do a compression test. We beat the dog crap out of this motor. Here are the numbers

1. 125 psi
2. 123 psi
3. 120 psi
4. 125 psi
5. 125 psi
6. 120 psi

The Jeep 4.0 is a certified legendary engine

Everything needs to come apart. Deciding on where to start is kind of overwhelming 🤔

Im thinking motor, trans and Tcase come out first.
