CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR OWN BRYCE JELLISON!! He was inducted into the Oklahoma Esports Coaches Association Hall of Fame last night at the Day 1 of the Oklahoma Scholastic Esports Coaches Clinic and Hall of Fame Ceremony in Bixby Oklahoma! Thank you to OKSE, OECA, Howard Technologies, and Bixby Public Schools for making this happen for Bryce!

Our own Bryce Jellison is apart of Class 2026 in the esports Hall of Fame! Bryce not only set a record of the first ever Dual Type Champion in iRacing (NASCAR and F1) but he is also the BACK TO BACK (Fall-Spring) NASCAR Champion!!

Bryce has also been a huge advocate for spreading iRacing to all of Oklahoma and tries his best to work with others and coach them during and after the race because as Bryce has said, " Competition is what I want, I don't want to be the best, I want to compete with the best and I want to continue to build iRacing all across Oklahoma." Bryce has also wanted to start training others in our program to continue this push. In order to do this we need help securing funds for another Racing Rig and PC. This would be a tremendous step in what could be another outlet in a professional or semi professional racing career or even other avenues.

I also want to shout out Chris Golden for talking with Bryce, working with Bryce and ultimately inspiring him to continue to improve and push him to be the best he can be.

This Hall of Fame ceremony will take place July 16th at 5pm at Bixby High School. I would love it if you can come and support him that day. I know Bryce would love it too!

Thank everyone who has continued to make Canute Esports a success, thank you for the support, and I look forward to what the future holds for this program.

Our first competition kicks off in August!

We are excited to announce the Oklahoma Esports Coaches Association 2026 Hall of Fame inductee class! We celebrate the accomplishments and impact that these people have made not only at their own schools, but to esports all across the state of Oklahoma. Congratulations!

So in the process of getting ready for the banquet on Saturday, after doing some really deep data diving because of the records from 2019/2020/2021/2022 being very spotty due to changing from Western Oklahoma Esports over to Oklahoma Scholastic Esports we now have confirmed the following thanks to a post from Spring 2022.

Canute is now home to the 14x HS State Champions, and 14x MS State Champions and 3x National Champions.

This group getting ready to graduate made me really do some digging and I'm glad I did because I knew I had extra medals at my house for the coach's medals and I couldn't figure out why. Well it was because the Spring 22 season which technically was the launch of a true Middle School Experience was deemed to be JUNIOR HIGH which is why the data got a bit muddled.

That is no longer the case and as such at the banquet we will be honoring those who participated in that season to win their State Championships and MVP titles.

Canute Family! Due to the unfortunate circumstances regarding COD State at ECU for Oklahoma Scholastic Esports we are going to reschedule against Elk City who is up 1-0 currently. We will play Wednesday at 12:30 and do our best to properly Livestream the match on our Facebook.

That means from Fall to Spring we won a total of 8! Yes 8, State Championships!! By far this group has has the most talent in the recent years and a lot of that is due to the competition in Oklahoma Scholastic Esports

I want to shout out Junior Jake Miles and Canute Alum Bryler Lewis for coming today and prepping with the boys for R6!

I also want to shout out to the parents who showed up and family who showed up to watch these kids play! We could not do it without y'all!!

Very last thing to wrap up is COD on Monday for HS, a Madden State Championship between Vince and Peanut and then MLB the Show and Canute Esports 2025-2026 is officially done!

Would love to see everyone out at the banquet on May 16th. Got some announcements and things and would love to see as many people filling the cafeteria as possible!!

Unfortunately we can not stream the R6 match due to issues with Spectator mode in the game and our Capture Card would have required us to restart the PS5 so the decision was made to not have a live stream. We will post constant updates, check comments.

This team has absolutely been a blast to watch. Going to miss my seniors Zeke Snowder and Noah Thompson! But I know this Rivals team is in good hands!!

With Zeke and Noah graduating that leaves two holes for this team but I know under the leadership of Luis and Jarrod these underclassmen will continue to grow for another year and then take the reigns. There's a reason the Middle School Group is known as the Sinister Six! 5 out of 6 will be High Schoolers next year. They have a shot at being Back to Back State Champions!

Been meaning to post it's been a crazy week!

First things first! CONGRATULATIONS TO BRYCE JELLISON! Oklahoma Scholastic Esports's first ever dual format iRacing Champion (F1/NASCAR) and the first ever BACK TO BACK iRacing Champion for NASCAR!

Bryce will now be nominated for the Oklahoma Esports Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
