Garai Fields is honored and excited to serve as the new Head Girls Varsity Basketball Coach at Plymouth High School.
Coach Fields brings seven years of head coaching experience in girls basketball, having led programs at Lincoln Park High School and Ann Arbor Huron High School. He also has experience at the middle school, AAU, and grassroots levels throughout Michigan, including time with Michigan Crossover, one of the state’s premier AAU programs.
Most recently, Coach Fields spent three seasons as the Head Girls Varsity Basketball Coach at Ann Arbor Huron, where he helped build a competitive program while developing young women as leaders on and off the court. He is also the founder of GD Prodigy Basketball, an organization focused on skill development, mentorship, and creating opportunities for student-athletes.
His coaching philosophy is built on energy, discipline, teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to excellence. Coach Fields believes basketball is bigger than wins and losses. It is about relationships, growth, confidence, and preparing student-athletes for success in life.
He is excited to build strong relationships with Plymouth players, families, staff, alumni, and supporters while helping continue the proud tradition of Plymouth Girls Basketball.

CONGRATULATIONS, WILDCATS OF THE WEEK! (5/11/26 – 5/16/26)

Varsity Softball — Gabby Jankowski | (Senior)
Gabby had a standout week at the plate against Howell and Divine Child, hitting .643 on a 9-for-14 stretch that included two triples, 4 RBI, and 5 runs scored. That kind of offensive production does not happen by accident - it is what happens when preparation meets competitive fire.

Men's Track & Field — 4x100 Meter Relay — Charles Voden, Andrae Mcsween, Kaiden Moore & Xavier Williams |

This group qualified for the MHSAA State Championships after placing 2nd at the Regional Meet on Friday - and on their way there, they ran a 43.08 that broke the Plymouth school record that had stood since 2008. History made, and States ahead. Congratulations, Wildcats.

Men's Track & Field — 4x800 Meter Relay — Sami Anwar, Adrian Clarke, Lucas LaPointe & Daniel Niehaus |

The 4x800 relay placed 2nd at the Regional Meet and punched their ticket to the MHSAA State Championships, joining a proud tradition as the 17th Plymouth 4x800 team to qualify for States over the years. Congratulations, Wildcats.

Girls Track & Field — Eily Ingle | (Sophomore)

Eily threw a personal best of 86 feet, 4 inches in the discus at the MHSAA Regional Meet — a throw that beat her previous best by 8 feet and advanced her to the finals. That kind of jump does not happen without putting in the work. Congratulations, Eily.

Girls Track & Field — Ryleigh Alexander | (Sophomore)

Ryleigh delivered personal record performances in both the pole vault and the 300-meter hurdles at the MHSAA Regional Meet, showing the versatility and toughness that make her one of the most exciting young competitors on this roster. Congratulations, Ryleigh.
