One thing we’ve tried to preach to these boys is that as long as there’s a pitch left to throw, a swing left to take, or an out left to record, they’ve got what it takes to make something happen.

Baseball has a funny way of rewarding the teams that keep believing when everyone else has stopped. I’ve seen these knuckleheads do some awesome stuff with 2 outs.

This week we get one more practice before we head to Tennessee to end our season and I couldn’t be more proud of this group.

Not because of wins and losses, but because of the young men you’re becoming through the process.

Play hard. Play together. Trust your preparation. Trust your teammates and most importantly, never stop believing in yourselves.

Let’s go make some memories, boys.

The Georgia Academy Braves are excited to announce upcoming 11U tryouts for the upcoming season!

We are looking for competitive, coachable players and families who are committed to player development, teamwork, and building a strong baseball culture.

Our program focuses on:
🔥 Player Development
🔥 Fundamentals & Baseball IQ
🔥 Competitive Tournament Play
🔥 Accountability & Team Culture
🔥 Long-Term Growth On & Off the Field

📅 Tryout Date: June 24th
🕕 Check-In Begins: 6:00 PM
⚾️ Tryout Starts Promptly: 6:15 PM
📍 Location: Patriots Park - Field 1

The Georgia Braves had an absolute blast this week hanging out with their new friend, Jax White and putting in work on the MVP Slide Mats.

From relay races to sliding competitions and plenty of laughs in between, these boys went hard while making memories they’ll never forget.

Watching this group have this much fun at practice is a reminder of what this game is really supposed to be about. Yes, we compete. Yes, we work hard. Yes we want to win. But at the end of the day, baseball is about creating friendships, building confidence and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Years from now, these kids may not remember every score or every trophy but they’ll remember the teammates they shared the field with, the laughs they had at practice and the moments that made them fall in love with the game.

I think the more that people focused on this and removed their own egos out of the equation, youth sports would be a significantly better place.

This is what it’s all about.

Super excited to wrap up our last regular season tournament prior to heading to Tennessee for our destination trip to end our spring season and dive right into summer head first!

First up at 8:30 is Talkin Blue Sox - Thompson, followed by a 12:30 game against the Gremlins.

Both games will be played on Patriots Turf Field 1, bring an umbrella and a raincoat. 😂🚀🤌

These Braves will be out at the corner of the Waleska Food Mart and The North Cherokee Church of Christ raising funds for their World Series in Chattanooga TN.

These boys played their butts off yesterday, going 2-1 for their mamas and we are very proud of them.

Shout out to Jeremiah Quinones who hit a 2 run homerun off of a line drive in the bottom of the 5th in a game we were down 5-1, which led to a 7 run rally and the boys punched their ticket to the championship with a game 2 win against DA.

We had a nasty case of walks in the championship which led to these boys coming in as finalist but we couldn’t be more proud of them for the overall day they had. Shout out to the Blue Sox and their pitcher who was on fire as well.

As always a ton of things to work on for the next couple of weeks but we are excited to get back at it and continue to coach em up.

Thank you to all the incredible mothers on our team, everything you do for all of us does not go unnoticed. The amount of sacrifices yall make so we can run around and play in the dirt with these kids does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.

We salute you queens.

We can’t wait to honor the incredible mothers behind our Georgia Academy Braves family this Saturday. The early mornings, the late nights, the rides to practice, the endless support, the sacrifices nobody sees and the unconditional love that never stops showing up. A mother’s love knows no limits and it knows no bounds.

These boys get the opportunity to chase their dreams because of the women standing behind them every single step of the way. That kind of love deserves to be honored the right way.

So this weekend, we plan to show up, compete hard and leave everything we’ve got on the field for them.

Up first at 9am is Talkin Baseball Bagby, followed by a 12pm matchup against Diamond Academy. Both games played at Weatherby. Championship to be determined that afternoon.

Let’s finish this week of practice strong and go get it done boys.

Your Braves are back in action this Friday night!

First up at 6:30 is the Titans on Field 2, followed by a 8:15 showdown with Talkin Blue Sox - Thompson on Field 1.

We’re looking forward to watching these boys play some baseball and can’t wait till tomorrow!

Both games will be played at Hobgood Softball Complex, come out and show these boys some support and cheer them on!

With our inaugural spring training fast approaching this weekend and our Georgia Academy Baseball invitational set to kick off next weekend with Training Legends, I wanted to finalize our teams roster announcements for the upcoming season.

Next up on our list is a boy I have had the pleasure of coaching up since fall of 5U. Before he could tie his shoe or catch a baseball, I’ve got to watch him grow up on a ballfield and Its been awesome.

Without a doubt, Jeremiah is the epitome of what happens when hard work and dedication to the game turns into something special.

Keep trusting the process kid, we’re just getting started kid.
