The Dance Connection is proud to be celebrating our 27th year in business. We offer ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, pom-pon, musical theater and pointe classes. We offer 'creative dance' classes for children ages 3 and 4. Our studio is equipped with four spacious dance rooms and waiting rooms.

Each year our full team jazz line is usually one of our favorite routines and this year was no exception! Burn Up the Dance Floor was a standout at all of our competitions this season always placing in the overalls, receiving extra judges awards, and even winning Best In Show in the Moxie PAC Attack Challenge!

We are now looking for talented dancers as young as 5 years old to join our competitive team for the 2026-27 season. Summer classes for all interested dancers wil be held in July. The class schedule and times can be found on our website.

Join us at the studio tomorrow, Wednesday, June 3rd at 7:00pm for an informational parent meeting for all interested families. We'll answer all of your questions regarding team expectations, time commitments, and associated costs. We look forward to meeting you!

We are still enrolling students into our summer dance program! We have a number of classes that only have one spot available. Registration can be completed on our website via the parent portal. We highly suggest you register early to secure a spot in your desired class. This is the perfect opportunity for children to try dance for the first time or for current dancers to try a new subject.

If you ordered pictures during picture week they are now ready to be picked up from the front desk. We are open on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings only for pick up. If you purchased a digital download of your photos those have been emailed out via WeTransfer link.

Our teen dancers (ages 12–14) have had an incredible competition season! Each of their routines have consistently placed in the Top 10 at each competition, with this lyrical routine earning 1st Overall twice this season.

Today is recital ticket sales day! Anyone over the age of 2 entering the auditorium must purchase a ticket. All dancers will be held backstage the entire length of show so a ticket will not be needed for them.

If you are unable to attend ticket sales at your scheduled time you may come at a later time or send a friend/family member to purchase tickets for you. If you send a friend from dance with more years of dance than your child, they must be willing to wait until your scheduled ticket sale time. Recital admission tickets are $23 per ticket. After today any unsold tickets will be available for purchase at the front desk during our normal business hours.

8 or more years of lessons- 9:00am-9:15am
6-7 years of lessons- 9:15am-9:30am
5 years of lessons- 9:30am-9:45am
4 years of lessons- 9:45am-10:00am
3 years of lessons- 10:00am-10:30am
2 years of lessons (last names A-M)- 10:30am-11:00am
2 years of lessons (last names N-Z)- 11:00am-11:30am
1 year of lessons (last names A-M)- 11:30am-12:00pm
1 year of lessons (last name N-Z)- 12:00pm-12:30pm

Next Thursday, May 21st is the last day to pre-order flowers for recital! Order forms were located on the back of the May/June newsletter. There are also extra copies at the front desk. Completed forms must be turned into the front desk with a cash or check payment. No credit card payments will be accepted as this fundraiser benefits the Carol Ann Jackson Memorial Scholarship Fund.
