Join us this Friday night at 7:00 p.m. as we celebrate the relationship between Team IMPACT (Inspire, Motivate, and Play Against Challenges Together), Tufts Athletics and Tufts University! It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of alumnus, former coach and longtime Jumbos supporter, Coach Ben Sands. Coach Sands worked tirelessly on behalf of our program and is the reason that today’s players are able to proudly wear the brown and blue.

A big weekend back home with our final games of 2018! We hope you can join us for this weekend's games and alumni activities - and bring with you a donation for our "Warm Hands, Warm Hearts" drive to support Friends of Boston's Homeless. We'll be collecting sock, hats, mittens/gloves and scarves at both games this weekend.

Friends of Boston's Homeless support solutions-oriented programs with proven track records that help homeless individuals transition from the streets and shelters to lead stable independent lives in homes of their own.

It’s ! Get involved and show your support for the men's hockey program. Last year we more than doubled the number of Giving Tuesday gifts to our program, and we are hoping to do the same again this year. But there's even more on the line! A group of anonymous members from our Tufts hockey family have generously offered to match, dollar for dollar, every gift made to the men’s hockey team by December 31 - up to $25,000! Or, we can earn the full match by generating 100 gifts by December 31!

Thank you the 70 golfers - alumni, past parents and friends of the program - who braved the heat and joined us Monday at Brookmeadow Country Club in Canton, Mass. for the Friends of Tufts Hockey Golf Tournament. Congratulations to the team captained by Nik Nugnes ‘18 for walking away victorious at -14.

It was great to have a few extra fans in the stands last night! Thank you to all those who came out to support this year’s Community Awareness Game with the East Coast Jumbos. This year, our players chose to take take the money typically spent on special game jerseys to instead purchase new jerseys for the EC Jumbos. We are excited to host our annual Community Awareness Game next Friday, February 2 as part of our game against Connecticut College (7:00 p.m., Malden Valley Forum). This year's game will celebrate our continued partnership with the East Coast Jumbos. The East Coast Jumbos are a hockey team for children and adults with developmental disabilities who love the game of hockey and benefit from learning life's lessons on and off the ice. Our now annual practice with the Jumbos has become a season highlight for our players, and we are excited to honor the team ahead of Friday night's game. We hope you can join us for an exciting evening!

Finished off our winter break with a 2-0-1 week back home: a bounce back tie vs. Endicott and conference wins over Amherst & Hamilton. Balanced play at both ends of the ice. Thanks to our parents, alumni and friends for yesterday’s atmosphere! We’re back at the MVF Friday (Trinity) & Saturday (Wesleyan) as we start the second half of NESCAC play.
