⭐️ April Member Spotlight ⭐️

Meet TJ Uselman!

TJ is a 24 year old Fabricator. Let’s get to know him a little better and see why he is such an asset to our CrossFit Van Zandt Community!

💥How long have you been doing CrossFit?
A little over 3 months

💥Usual class time?
5AM and 4-5 days a week

💥Reason(s)for starting CrossFit:  
I used to race motocross and have been searching for something to keep me in as good of shape as that did!

💥Favorite movement or workout:
I love anything that’s high intensity, fast paced, and keeps you moving - especially burpees or rowing!

💥Hobby or pastime:
Riding my dirtbike, anything outdoors or involving fitness - I am in!

💥 Biggest health/fitness accomplishment since joining:
I would say qualifying for ETX Fittest within my first few months of joining CrossFit. I am looking forward to other competitions as well!

💥Any future goals?
I would love to get a ring muscle up, but until then clean up my bar muscle ups and start stringing them together.

💥Tips or advice you would give to any new members or anyone thinking about joining CFVZ:

Just do it! If you’re thinking about it just come give it a try. It took me one phone call and a single workout to get hooked. Now I look forward to working out each morning.

💥Anything else you want to add?

Since my first workout I haven’t experienced a bad one. Everyone at the gym welcomes you in and you feel at home instantly. Come be a part of the CFVZ fam!
