One Nation D State.
Great weekend for this young team.
34 Teams. Seeded 24th.
Winning against 3 top 10 teams along the way to a 4-2 record.
A true team weekend. Couldn’t have done it without everyone involved for sure.
Codie Roberts lead the way right behind him was DJ Johnson hitting .700 plus. Tony George, Charles Stefanek, Tyrel Goings, Justin Slusser, Dallas Conley, Alex Schneider, Tony Sanders, Devin Sanders, Greg Wills, Adrian Camp and Jim Wittkamp.
Everyone at some point pitched in through the weekend for the run, wether it was Tony George with a 330’ Homerun to Devin Sanders running his tail off for the pitcher and someone else almost every inning. Tony Sanders with a key hit in game 5. Charles Stefanek making some wild catches in the outfield. Tyrel Goings with a couple needed Homeruns. Alex Schneider consistently tracking down fly ball after fly ball. Greg Wills filling in and playing a good 2nd base. Adrian Camp with a lock down Short stop.
It takes a village. It takes a team. This weekend was a TEAM.

Need to give a shout out.
These boys went down to the WSL Northern Kentucky State Tournament short handed and a little worried about the true sponsor of the Team, Bev Wittkamp, and balled out to a 3rd place finish beating a couple top 5 teams in the region.
3 guys have the honors of belonging to the All Tournament Team.
Justin Slusser for one of if not top batting averages for the tournament only making 3 outs.
DJ Johnson for a great weekend of hitting followed by a great performance pitching.
Zach Sigmond for finishing with one of the top batting averages at the tournament as well.

I also want to thank this entire team for their support with Bev being in the hospital after a near death situation with 2 aneurysms with one rupturing causing Brain hemorrhage. She had 2 surgeries in 72 hours with a total of 8 coils in place.
Great news is she is on the road to a good recovery even if it’s slow.

Love my softball brothers and nephews for sure. When I say this newly formed team is becoming a family, it is true and am proud to have brought them all together.

Thanks for the montra of ALL IN for the weekend representing Bev and I.
This montra is now our team breakout for the rest of the year cause Bev and I are ALL IN also.

Love my softball family.

We’d like to wish all the mothers a Happy Mother’s Day today! Especially to all the moms out there who stay at home with the kids or watch the kids at ballpark while we do what we love. We couldn’t do it without you! And a very Happy Mothers Day to our softball mom, Bev Fisher Wittkamp!

Less than 30 days until the season opening tournament! We’re starting to get the itch
