Ohio Spikes ball clubs will be back in tournament action this weekend! In Saturday's pool play, Spikes 10u Humes will take on IVL Walter at 9 a.m. and Steel City Hitmen at 1 p.m. at Patterson Park in Akron; Spikes 11u Roybal will play 2026 Rebels on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Willig Park in Canton; Spikes 13u Trolio will meet Premier Ohio SG at 1 p.m. and Diamond Dogs Bronze at 5:30 p.m. in Tallmadge; Spikes 9u Clawson plays Clutch at 9 a.m. and Jackson Purple at 1 p.m. at Patterson Park in Akron; and Spikes 12u Wisener will begin tourney action tonight at 5:30 p.m. against Norton Nightmare at Lions Park in Mogadore then will face Dawgs Bronze on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Willig Park in Canton. Ohio Spikes 12u Bowland came up just short in its bid to open 2026 with four straight tournament titles, falling to Fennell Bros Express 12-10 in the Magic City Mayhem Championship Game on Sunday. The Spikes are now 16-1-2 on the year.

Several Ohio Spikes teams will be seeking tournament titles this weekend! In pool play on Saturday, Ohio Spikes 10u Humes will take on Premier Beringo at 11:30 am. and Mentor Cardinals Black at 1:30 p.m. in Lorain; Spikes 12u Wisener will battle Mid Ohio Blitz at 8:30 a.m. and Perry Black at 10:30 at Genshaft Park in Massillon; Ohio Spikes 13u Trolio will meet Squires Baseball at 8:30 a.m. and Hudson Blue at 10:45 at Sportszone in Alliance; Ohio Spikes 9u Clawson will battle Lake Express at 10 a.m. and Ohio Gators at Noon at Weis Park in Canton; and last but not least Ohio Spikes 12u Bowland - winners of its first three 2026 tournaments - will meet Fielder's Choice Ramirez at 8:30 a.m. and Fennell Bros. In between showers it’s been raining championships on the Ohio Spikes 12u Bowland ball club this April! The Spikes captured their third tourney title in as many outings this weekend, securing the Ohio Baseball Diamond Duel crown with a dominating performance on Championship Sunday. The Spikes outscored today’s three opponents by a combined count of 34-3. They defeated DAK 13-0 in 3 innings in the final. Anthony Hunt ripped a grand slam, while Trey Tucker and Blake Bowland also homered for the Spikes. Jase Hall tossed a one-hit shutout. The Spikes finished the opening month of April unbeaten at 13-0-2. Congratulations Ohio Spikes 12u Bowland, keep it rolling!!
