Charlie's Angels Baton and Show Corps Christmas Banquet 2025...
Even with the snow, we had an amazing banquet!
All of the kids who were able to make it (we had a few who could not due to the road conditions last night) received 4 different snowman themed crafts to do. We had a pen, a wooden ornament, a felt ornament and a foam ornament. Everyone received an award for their contribution to our parades and shows, Santa brought all the kids a special gift, an inside out key chain, a candy cane and a nice big stocking full of candy, socks and trinkets to play with. He also read a story to the kids (Frosty The Snowman) and spent special one on one time with them. We all enjoyed a hot meal of Marinated chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, pasta with marinara sauce, meatballs, salad and dinner rolls (and lots of juice and teas). Cupcakes and cookies rounded out our meal. We had lots of freebies that went home (brushes, chapstick, gingerbread houses to paint or decorate, nail polish, bookbags....too much really to name. :) Everyone really enjoyed our snow globe photo prop, which was hand made by one of our marching dads....and it was very much loved by everyone who saw it. We had a couple of games with prizes and also awarded 4 kids with some play doh for completing a challenge (Twirl with something Christmas related that is not a baton). The kids all performed a song in sign language for everyone to enjoy. We had some dancing to Christmas music and lots of fun just being together... visiting and being silly. Our WONDERFUL marching parents were given a gift too, because we appreciate them all so much! Without them...we could not do parades, shows or any of the fun things we do throughout the year including this banquet.
Our banquets are huge. The planning, the set up, all aspects of it. It takes months of planning and hours of set up....but in the end, it's just the perfect ending to an amazing season and we all left with thoughts of how we can top it next year... :)
We are all on a winter/Holiday break now. Classes will resume on Monday January 5th, 2026. If you know anyone who would love to learn to play an instrument (bells, drums, etc), twirl a baton, twirl a flag, learn a pom pom routine, or march in our color guard unit in 2026...and be a part of our banquet memories next year...please reach out. We can't wait to meet new friends in 2026!!!
Please enjoy some member photos of our 2025 banquet. A second post with award photos of the kids who were able to attend will soon follow.
