I'm excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic education and golf journey at Belmont Abbey College. I thank God first, for giving me the ability and the perseverance to do something I love so much! I want to thank my coaches, my family, and all my friends especially my golf girls for their continuous love and support. Thank you to The Abbey for giving me this opportunity. Aloah Cox represented Pisgah High School Womens Golf at the NCHSAA State Championships the last few days. Pisgah Nation be proud of this team and this incredible young woman. Not only did she play well, she represented her school and her community with dignity, grace, integrity, amazing sportsmanship and professionalism. After a harsh first round Aloah went back this morning for round 2. It was miserable to say the least. There was a 30 min delay before they decided to let the girls play. After 3 broken umbrellas, a broken cart, soaking bag, and 7 holes in they decided to cancel. 18 hole scores would stand and become final scores. Aloah placed 5th in the class of 2026, 11th in overall score with ties and 16th individually. Great job Aloah!! Pisgah is proud of the legacy and the traditions you have left! Thank you for living the motto: golf is just what we do, not who we are!! Youll always be a Bear!!!

Pisgah Nation you should be proud of this Bear!! Aloah Cox played her first round in the NCHSAA State Championships. The conditions were intense! It rained 90% of the day. It was wet, cold, and windy! She's sittin 11th going inito tomorrow, goal is top 10!! Send good vibes. Pray the weather gets better 🙏 It's Pinehurst! What a beautiful day of golf!!!
When the girls arrived to Pilot K**b Park Golf Course the rain and wind was so bad they could barely see 10 ft in front of them. The practice round was rough! That made today even more sweet. Going in almost blind, the course unforgiving, the greens soft and quick, but the weather... absolutely beautiful!! Pisgah Nation you should be proud of these girls. They left everything out on the course. They played with Grit!! They play with Grace!! They played with Pride!! A huge congratulations to Aloah Cox who will represent Pisgah at the State Championship next weekend in Pinehurst, NC. Her hardwork over the past 4 years, especially the last few months, sealed the deal for her. Congratulations Aloah!!! Great Job Bears!!! What an amazing season!!!
