Behind every baseball or softball game is a board member working hard to make sure those games happen.

Some days are easy, and there isn’t much to do. And some days… well, some days we’re ready to throw in the towel. 😅

It’s hot? We’re still out there. ☀️
It’s raining? Yep, we’re out there too. 🌧️
Fields need raking? We grab a rake.
Trash needs picked up? We grab a bag.
Something breaks? We figure it out.

Most of the work happens when no one is watching.

Without the board, there wouldn’t be fields ready to play on, schedules made, problems solved, or a season at all. These are volunteers giving up evenings, weekends, family time, and a whole lot of sweat because they want our kids to have a place to play. ❤️

So the next time you see a board member picking up trash, dragging a field, lining bases, fixing something, running from field to field—or even finally sitting under a shade tree for a few minutes—thank them.

They may not be wearing a uniform or standing on the field during the game, but they are a big part of the reason our kids get to play.

To all of our board members: THANK YOU for showing up, even on the hard days. ⚾️🥎❤️
