What’s the difference between the new Ronin and our Nano saddles?

First, the Nano isn’t going anywhere. It’s for the minimalist hunter who wants some features, but ultimately wants the lightest weight and most compact saddle (16oz)

The Ronin is its bigger brother for those who want built in features, a little more comfort and structure, while still being in a lightweight (19oz) saddle.

The Ronin will be available this summer, so make sure you sign up to be notified when it drops on the product page.

“May 9th was one for the books!

At first light, things felt doubtful with no gobbles on the roost. Then at 6:28 a.m., I heard a spit and drum and looked through the left window of the blind, and there he was, a big strutter at 50 yards running in! A minute later, the first longbeard was down.

We settled back in, hoping to double, and at 6:55 a.m. two hens stepped into the field with another longbeard close behind. After putting on a show for the camera, Dad sealed the deal.

Two birds. No gobbles. Only two calls. All wrapped up at 7 a.m.

An epic morning we won’t soon forget.”

Wrapping up a turkey tour through one of my favorite regions in the country. I’ve been up here a few times for rock climbing, surfing, and adventuring which kindled the love for this area. Always wanted to come back for a turkey hunt which we were able to hit 3 states in 7 days.

I was fortunate enough to take 4 birds in 3 new states while experiencing some beautiful country. I’ll save the modern day poetry recap for another time.

Overall it was a fun experience but definitely more field bird activity than I like, but you have to hunt what you have.
