Pool Closure for Labor Day Weekend
Dear Colony Swim Club Members,
We want to update you on an important matter regarding the remainder of our season.
Despite our dedicated efforts to keep the pump system operational, we have unfortunately fallen short. The mechanical issues have proven too significant to resolve in time, and with great disappointment, we must officially close the pool for the rest of the season.
However, we’re not ready to say goodbye to summer just yet.
This Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (Labor Day Weekend), the Colony Swim Club grounds will remain open from 12 PM to 7 PM for members to enjoy one final weekend together.
To help us go out on a high note:
We’ve rented the giant water slide and inflatable slip & slide that were such a hit at our 60th birthday celebration. These will be available on Sunday and Monday, when the weather is expected to be warmer.
We’ll be running huge specials on all snack bar items as we clear out the freezer—come hungry and help us make the most of it!
We’ve also reached out to our fellow SISL swim clubs to inform them of our situation. We're grateful to share that, as of now, Northville Swim Club has generously welcomed Colony members to use their pool this weekend. If you choose to take advantage of their hospitality, simply let them know you’re a Colony member upon arrival. If we hear from any other SISL clubs with a similar opportunity we will send out another email update.
We know this isn’t the ending to the season any of us wanted, but we hope you’ll join us this weekend to celebrate the community and spirit that make Colony so special.
Thank you for your understanding, support, and flexibility. We’ll be in touch again soon with more updates and information.
