🏀 Welcome to Canon-McMillan, Coach Gary Goga! 🏀
Canon-McMillan is excited to announce Gary Goga as the new Head Boys Basketball Coach!

A Bethel Park graduate and former basketball player at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, Coach Goga brings more than 20 years of coaching experience to the Big Macs program.

He served as an assistant coach at Upper St. Clair before spending 15 seasons as Head Coach at Peters Township, where he led the Indians to a 2009 WPIAL Championship and earned Post-Gazette WPIAL Coach of the Year honors. Most recently, he coached five seasons at Keystone Oaks, leading the Golden Eagles to a 76-46 record and three playoff appearances.

Coach Goga has also spent 25 years teaching English at Steel Valley High School.

Way to go Ben!!

We couldn't be prouder of our graduating senior BEN TACZAK as he commits to play college golf and study business at Washington & Jefferson College! Coach Dittmar calls Ben "one of the most consistent golfers on our team this year, but more importantly, he is one of the kindest and most respectful players I've ever been around." Ben had a stellar senior season with the Big Mac golf team, making both the individual and the team WPIAL semi-finals. He's enjoyed three years on our varsity golf team and is an all-around athlete, playing baseball and basketball for the Big Macs. As hardworking in the classroom as he is on the golf course, baseball field and basketball court, Ben is has maintained his position on the distinguished honor roll throughout high school. Ben, you're a great golfer, great student and incredible person and your Big Mac family will be cheering for your success as you start your next chapter at W&J.

Congrats to Roman on the Luke Blanock Award, voted by his teammates. Roman was a Little Dribbler when Luke was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma. Luke set the example of determination and pure love of the game for our young athletes. His legacy is inspirational. We are honored his parents join us every year to present the award.
