Thinking way ahead and a big WHAT IF, but if we were to try to have a Roll R Skate reunion, I'd need your thoughts.
1.) Which Rink would you be willing to come to:
q.) Neville Roller Drome
b.) Donora
2.)What time of the year wold be best? Summer, Winter, Fall, Spring?
3.) We'd also want to get a list of music to play - ideally the music that was played at your favorite sessions, say from the 80's and 90's. Please don't suggest organ music. There are still organ music sessions around that you can attend any time. What I'm thinking is replicating the regular public sessions from Roll R Skate with the music (and ending with New York New York of course!) Friends seeing friends from years ago, and bringing their kids to experience what it was like for us. Anyone interested?
If we have to rent the rink, we'd have to pay for it. But if we get enough people coming it's possible we could charge something really small like $2 a person just to cover the cost. Then we'd be able to pick the music based on the list you give me, and play that during the session.
